There are many possibilities for customizing the TULIKIVI® model of your choice if desired, but remember that all of these changes increase the cost of your project and few of them affect the function of how efficiently the soapstone masonry heater warms your home.
Of all the creative additions, we find that built-in stone benches are the most appreciated by our customers. They provide a comfortable place to sit with your back against the warm heater,.. but warning, the benches may cause "fighting" over who gets to sit there!
Mantle bands and rough stone accents definitely add uniqueness and architectural beauty to the heater at a reasonable cost.
Full rough-stone "Boulder" designs and units with curved surfaces are spectacular, but so is their cost, since so much additional skilled hand-labor is required at the factory to produce them.
Bottom line, you can create whatever you want and we can build it, as long as it fits your budget!
